The Mountaineers are headed to theSweet 16after beating Wake Forest University in double overtime on Saturday to advance to the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Alumni and friends of West Virginia University will have an opportunity to join them in New Mexico as they face No. 6 seeded Texas Tech. Tipoff is set for approximately 9:40 p.m. (EST) on March 24, and the game will be televised on CBS .
The WVU Alumni Association, working with National Travel, will offer a travel package to Albuquerque for alumni and friends of WVU . Air packages leave from Clarksburg on March 24 and return March 26 and include round trip air transportation, appropriate in-flight services, round trip airport/hotel transfers and baggage handling, three-night accommodations, pre-registration of hotel rooms, baggage handling at the hotel, round trip game transfers, reserved seat game ticket and more. Officials from National Travel and the Alumni Association will also serve as travel hosts for the length of the trip.
