Media Advisory: Community reception Monday for new WVU Institute of Technology president

* WHO :* New WVU Tech President Charles E. Bayless; WVU President David C. Hardesty Jr.; WVU Tech Interim President Galan M.LannyJaneksela; Montgomery Mayor Melba White; other community, legislative and congressional representatives.

* WHAT :* A welcoming reception, hosted by WVU and Tech officials, will be held for Techs ninth president and his wife, Joan.

* WHEN :* 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 28

* WHERE :* Tech Center Ballroom, WVU Tech campus, Montgomery, W.Va.

* NOTE :* Members of the media are encouraged to attend this event, which will include a brief program with remarks by Presidents Bayless, Hardesty and Janeksela. Reporters will have time to conduct short interviews between the program and a reception that follows. Parking will be available in select campus lots; check with attendants as you arrive.
