Mary E. Bowman recently joined the West Virginia University Research and Economic Development team as the coordinator of legislative affairs.

Bowmans primary responsibility will be to serve as the interface between WVU faculty who are principal investigators of projects funded through legislative action, and the staffs of the West Virginia legislative delegation in Washington, D.C.

Bowman comes to WVU from Washington, D.C., where she had been practicing law with a general litigation firm.

Bowman earned her B.A. degree in religious studies and history from Wheeling Jesuit University and her law degree from the WVU College of Law.
