The WVU Community Arts Youth Choir, featuring talented young singers ages 9-14, will present a fun and spirited winter concert Friday, Dec. 17, at the WVU Creative Arts Center.

The program takes place in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (Room 200A), beginning at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Choir members will be ringing in the holiday season by performing a combination of songs, instrumental pieces and dances, conducted by Mary Kathryn Burbank and Heidi R. Dunkle, and accompanied by pianist Hooy Yin Boey.

The Youth Choir will be accepting new members for the spring semester. Interested young singers are invited to join this educational and fun ensemble. For more information, contact the Community Music Office at (304) 293-4841, Ext. 3168.
