Alumni and friends of West Virginia University may want to take advantage of three-night land and air travel packages to Jacksonville, Fla., for the 2005 Toyota Gator Bowl.

WVU officially accepted on Monday an offer to play Florida State University in the New Year’s Day game at Alltell Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on NBC .

The WVU Alumni Association, working with National Travel, has selected Sawgrass Marriott Resort in picturesque Ponte Vedra Beach as its official headquarters. Sawgrass will also serve as the Mountaineer football teams headquarters.

Air packages leave from both Charleston and Clarksburg on Dec. 30 and return Jan. 2.
