The West Virginia University opera program will presentOpera Scenesat the Creative Arts Center, Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 10-13.

Under the direction of Robert Thieme, the program will include scenes fromRusalkaby Antonin Dvork,I Quattro Rusteghiby Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari;Der Rosenkavalierby Richard Strauss; andOwen WingraveandAlbert Herringby Benjamin Britten.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the CAC s Antoinette Falbo Theatre, with the exception of the Saturday, Nov. 13 performance, which will be at 3:15 p.m.

WVU voice students, who will perform the major roles, include Samantha Bonacci, Emily Tanzey, Andrew Harris, Christina Romich, Laurie Racculia, Olivia Zeigler, Joshua Jannotta, William Hostutler, Joanie Brittingham, Daniel Salls, Heath Harris, Jessica Mariotti, Kristina Driskill, Susanna Reckord-Raymer, Benjamin Bell, Jennifer Vanderholm, Rebecca Mullins, Sarah Lynch, P. Tim Valentine, Ann Kincaid, Emily Lapisardi, Danielle Goode, and Jennifer Vanella.Accompanists will be piano students Pinkcheer Tamio and Seyoung Jeong.

Scenes fromDer Rosenkavalierwill be performed in German.
