*Senior gift helps graduates give back to WVU *
December graduates have the opportunity to keep in touch with their new alma mater by donating through the Senior Gift.
When seniors donate $30, they get their names engraved on the Mountaineer Mark, a plaque that will be placed in Mountaineer Heritage Park to be built on the Riverfront.
The Senior Gift was started several years ago as a way for the graduating class to give back to students, and we hope to continue to build on this tradition, said Amanda Tranquillo with Student Affairs.
Seniors will decide how the money is used, she added, whether for a new Student Affairs program, campus beautification or some other project.
For more information or to contribute to the gift, contact Tranquillo at 304-293-5811.
