Job seekers should start touching up their resumes for West Virginia Universitys Fall 2004 Employment Expo.

The job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the WVU Coliseum.

The event is free and open to the public; registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Blue Gate.

Representatives from about 60 companies and government agenciesincluding The Associated Press , Internal Revenue Service, Lockheed Martin Corp., the Morgantown Workforce West Virginia Center, Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., the U.S. Army, the U.S. Treasury, West Virginia Radio Corp., WKKW FM Radio and WVU Hospitalswill be looking for employees .

Its a great opportunity to talk to a lot of different companies under one roof,said Bob Kent, Expo organizer and director of WVU s Career Services Center.The Exployment Expo allows students to �€~field testcareer choices and to initiate what may be the first of many job searches.

Those attending should dress professionally and bring several copies of their resume, he advised, and be ready for an interview.
