Get in the know, then stay for the game during West Virginia University Day Saturday, Sept. 25, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum.

The information fair and special discount ticket offer are being coordinated through WVU s Office of Enrollment Services and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to encourage prospective students and their families to learn about the Universitys diverse academic offeringswhile also experiencing student life outside the classroom.

Students interested in attending WVU can use this special opportunity to find out more about our majors, career opportunities, scholarships and financial assistance,said Regan Bruni, New Student Orientation coordinator.

Afterwards, she added, families can experience a major college football game as WVU takes on James Madison at 4 p.m. at Milan Puskar Stadium at Mountaineer Field.

Its important from a recruiting perspective, to show students and parents both the academic side of life as well as whats available to them in terms of student life opportunities,she noted.

Representatives from various WVU schools and collegesfrom the School of Pharmacy to the Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciencesin addition to Student Affairs units such as Admissions and Records and Financial Aid will be participating, she added.

There will be free handouts, plus prizes and light refreshments.

A special ticket order form is available online for those who attend the information fair. Up to 10 tickets may be purchased in advance at (click on WVU Day icon). No phone or fax orders will be accepted.

Tickets to the game and confirmation details will be mailed beginning Monday, Sept. 13. Orders received after that date will be held at the will call window at the stadium on game day.

Families are encouraged to park free at the WVU Coliseum and take a shuttle to the stadium. The cost of round-trip shuttle service is $3.50 per person.
