West Virginia University’s Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity will ring the Armored Cruiser USS West Virginia Bell at noon Friday, April 30, to honor the passing of Pamela Struble.

A sophomore visual art major from Morgantown, Struble, 45, died April 23 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter Jenny, a student at WVU ; and son Jody, a graduating senior at Morgantown High School.

WVU has officially recognized the fraternity’s student memorial bell service tradition. The bell, commissioned in 1905, will be rung in salute. All members of the University community are welcome to attend.
