The West Virginia University School of Journalism’s Diversity In Media Association will hold a diversity dinner featuring everything from Appalachian favorites to New Orleans-style gumbo.

The all-you-can-eat dinner will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, in Hatfield’s Conference Room A in the Mountainlair. The cost is $7.

The organization hopes to raise money to pay for student trips and conferences.

The dinner will feature regional foods from students’hometowns. Some of the dishes on the menu include beans and cornbread, gumbo, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, Thai, pizza, Chinese and a variety of deserts, including peanut butter pie.
