We were extremely pleased to be recognized by PRWA ,said John Mori, NESC director. They are one of the leading state rural water associations, and we’ve built a good relationship with them over the last several years. The collaborative work we do with groups such as PRWA epitomizes our role as a national clearinghouse. We supply timely and accurate knowledge and information to those working directly with communities.

One of 50 state organizations affiliated with the National Rural Water Association, PRWA provides hands-on help to rural water and wastewater utilities across the Keystone State. PRWA uses NESC training materials and publications to help member systems provide clean, safe drinking water to their communities and to adequately treat their wastewater.

NESC traces its roots to 1979 when the National Small Flows Clearinghouse was founded. From that inauspicious beginning 25 years ago, NESC has grown to become a valuable resource for small and rural communities. NESC is recognized as a national leader in the areas of drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, and environmental training and management.
