Big East Consortium sponsoring e-Fair, March 22-April 16
May graduates and alumni will want to take advantage of the hundreds of job opportunities available at the Big East e-Fair March 22-April 16.
Sponsored by the Big East Consortium, in conjunction with MonsterTRAK, participants will be able to visit virtual employer booths and search for jobs online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The e-Fair is an entirely Internet-based job fair. Thousands of students and alumni from
WVU and other Big East colleges and universities will be able to search for permanent jobs and summer, co-op or internship positions from any of these categories: banking and financial services; biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare; business and consulting services; communications and media; engineering; government, nonprofit and human services; high tech, Internet and information technology; manufacturing; public and private schools, higher education; retail and telecommunications.
According to Kent, the e-Fair provides a low-cost, effective tool for advertising positions through a featured Web site on Big East college campuses. Employers can increase their visibility, reach top-quality candidates, reduce travel costs by recruiting directly from their offices and advertise as many openings as they want for one low fee.
The e-Fair is free to WVU students and alumni. Employers may register for $200 ($100 for non-profit organizations). To sign up, go to http://www.wvu.edu/~careersc/BigEasteFair.html
