Gail Galloway Adams and Kevin Oderman, faculty members in the West Virginia University Department of English, will read from their works at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, in the Robinson Reading Room of the Charles C. Wise Jr. Library.

Adams received the Flannery O’Connor Award in Short Fiction for her book,The Purchase of Order.Her stories have been published in The Kenyon Review, Story Quarterly, North American Review, The Georgia Review and Arts&Letters. Her work is included inThe Prentice Hall Anthology of Women’s Literature.

Oderman was awarded the Bakeless Prize for his book of literary essays,How Things Fit Together.His work has appeared in the North American Review, Shenandoah, the Southwest Review and the Northwest Review.

Both Adams and Oderman teach creative writing at the undergraduate and graduate levels at WVU .
