The Gamma Beta Phi Society of West Virginia University, in cooperation with Student Organizations Services and the Office of the President, will sponsor a forum for student organizations to learn more about each other and share their projects and ideas with President David C. Hardesty Jr.

The forum will take place from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Blaney House. All student organization presidents are invited to attend the forum, where they will have an opportunity to speak about their service projects and other events from this year.

This event is a great way to see true student life at West Virginia University, said Tim Valentine, chapter president and National Executive Committee member of the Gamma Beta Phi Society. All too often the hard work and support that WVU students give to the community is overlooked. This forum celebrates the voice of the college student.

Student organization must R.S.V.P. by Monday, March 1, to Valentine at gbphipres@hotmail.com or 304-598-9226. Due to limited space for this event, only the first 100 respondents will be able to attend. Also, each organization is restricted to one representative.

The evening will begin with a small reception followed by reports from the various organizations. President Hardesty will address the representatives and provide time for a brief question-and-answer session.
