Musicians who teach in the WVU Community Music Program will share their talents during the program’s annual Faculty Solo/Chamber Recital Friday, Feb. 27

The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (Room 200A) of the Creative Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public.

Included on the program will be: George Frederic Handel’sConcerto in B-flat for Harpby Christine Mazza, harp; Louis Cahuzac’sCantilneby Jeanne Frieben, clarinet and Pei Sien Lim, piano; Igor Stravinsky’sSuite Italienneby Patricia van der Sloot, violin, and Catherine Crotty, piano; Francis Poulenc’sTrio pour piano, hautbois, et bassonby Amy Galbraith, oboe, Alicia Whitney, bassoon, and John Morrison, piano; and Aaron Copland’s Hoe-Down fromRodeoas well as Ernesto Lecuona’s Malaguea fromAndalucia(Suite Espagnole) by Amanda Lee and Pei Sien Lim, piano.
