Janet Snyder, associate professor of art history in the West Virginia University Division of Art, will present a lecture at the Creative Arts Center Thursday, Feb. 12, as part of the Faculty Lecture Series:Art History -What Happened?

The lecture,A Good Head for Business: Evidence for Standardization in Twelfth-Century French Stone Sculpture,will begin at 5 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Recital Hall (Room 200A).

Snyder received a doctorate from Columbia University in 1996 and is an expert on medieval art and architecture, particularly sculpture and textiles, as well as Native American art. She also holds a masters degree from Columbia in medieval art history and a master of fine arts from the University of Wisconsin in theatre design.
