Teaching race-related issues will be the topic of the final teaching luncheon of the semester Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Hatfield’s B of the West Virginia University Mountainlair.
Katherine Bankole, director of the Center for Black Culture and Research, will talk about”Reflections on Teaching Race, Racism and Race Relations in Higher Education.”
The Dutch-treat luncheon is open to WVU faculty, staff, students and the public.
The Center for Black Culture and Research, Center for Women’s Studies and Native American Studies Program are sponsoring the luncheon.
