Feast on the many different cultures that make up West Virginia University duringLunch with the Amigosat noon Thursday (Oct. 30) in Hatfields in the West Virginia University Mountainlair.

Six administrators who call themselvesThe Amigoswill prepare some of their favorite foods reflective of their cultural backgrounds.

Amir Mohammadi, associate vice president for Student Affairs, will prepare a Persian roast leg of lamb; Jennifer McIntosh, executive officer for Social Justice, will fix Jamaican Jerk pork and chicken; Bob Kent, director of Career Services, plans to serve stuffed and sauteed Portabello mushrooms; Jan Palmer, director of University Health Services, is making Bruschetta; Jeff DeMoss, director of Dining Services, has a Seafood Alfredo Pesto Pasta planned; and Bob Campione, associate director for Student Affairs Auxiliaries Facilities, will make Tiramisu.

With a myriad of culinary offerings, McIntosh saysLunch with the Amigoswill be a whole new eating experience for the WVU community.

Whats the one thing all cultures have in common? Of course, a love for food! Despite the cultural distinctions regarding dietary norms and food preparation, one thing is for surethe wonderful smells and tastes associated with mealtime can bring people from all walks of life together at one table width=100%,she said.
