Just in time for Halloween, the WVU Division of Theatre and Dance presents a special bonus show, Faustus (A Puppet Nightmare), written and directed by Theatre student Dustin Collins.
The play will be held in the Vivian Davis Michael Theatre in the Creative Arts Center, Oct. 25 and 26.
Performances begin at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 and at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 26.
Dr. John Faustus, Mephistopheles, Lucifer, Three Angels, Robbie Johnson and other well-known and not-so-well-known characters will take the stage, puppet style. Based on the play by Christopher Marlowe and images created by John Wolfgang Von Goethe, this contemporary adaptation is a romp through time, space, and the battles of good and evil.
