Good times and good rock for a good cause are in store for WVU students when The Clarks return to Morgantown Friday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park on the Waterfront. WVU Students for the United Way are holding the concert to benefit The United Way, and it promises to be a good time for everyone.

With five albums and countless live performances to their credit, The Clarks, a rock quartet based in Pittsburgh, has a devoted legion of young fans around the country. The groups latest CD release is titledAnother Happy Ending.

The Clarks are very popular with our students,said Ken Gray, vice president for student affairs,and since ticket sales help support The United Way, attending the concert is a way they can have a great time while helping our community.

Tickets for the show are $15 and will be available for purchase Oct. 6-16 (10 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays) at a booth in the Mountainlair Commons or online athttp://www.clarksonline.com.

Park gates will open at 5 p.m. on the day of the concert. Seating is general admission and the show will go on rain or shine.
