Get out the old flatbed trailer, and be sure to stock up on plenty of chicken wire, paper mache and paint. The West Virginia University Homecoming Parade is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31Halloween night.

This years Homecoming Parade will travel north-south down High Street, the traditional parade route. Participants should be lined up and ready to go by 5:15 p.m. on North High Street. Judging will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Applications and rules are available at the Student Organization Services (SOS) Office. Participants are asked to fill out the application and return it, along with a $50 entry fee, by Wednesday, Oct. 15. A $10 fee will be assessed for late applications.

Checks should be made out to West Virginia University and indicate Homecoming Parade on the memo line of the check. No cash or ATM cards will be accepted. There is no fee for student and non-profit organizations.
