West Virginia Universitys College of Creative Arts, Center for Womens Studies and Council for Womens Concerns are seeking proposals for sessions to include in the upcoming national conference,Women and Creativity 2004: Examining the Past, Composing the Future,to be held at WVU Oct. 13-15, 2004.

Proposals for the sessions should focus on issues of women in the arts, pedagogy related to the arts, creative writing and visual and performing arts. Proposalsin the form of papers, workshops, panels, performances, films, presentations, lectures, demonstrations and recitalsare welcomed from visual and performing artists, faculty and students.

Proposals should include a 500-word description of the proposed session and a two-page curriculum vita for each presenter. The vita must include postal and e-mail addresses, as well as phone and fax numbers for each presenter and a list of audio/visual equipment needed for the session.

Please submit materials to Kristina Olson, Division of Art, P.O. Box 6111, WVU , Morgantown, WV 26506 no later than Dec. 1, or e-mail kristina.olson@mail.wvu.edu . Presenters will be notified by no later than Feb.1, 2004. Presenters must also register for the conference.
