West Virginia Universitys 16th annual Women of Color Day luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The luncheon is part of Diversity Week, and Caridad Morales Nussa from Havana, Cuba, is the guest speaker.

Nussa holds degrees in marketing, foreign trade and public relations. She has taught English for many professional institutions in Cuba and has also served as a translator and interpreter for numerous cultural, political, athletic and business events in Cuba.

In addition, she has lectured in Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and the United States. Since studying in Sweden, she has devoted much of her time to assisting Cuban women pursue business careers. Nussa is currently working on two masters degrees in TESOL /Linguistics and Education at WVU .

Tickets for the Women of Color Day luncheon are now on sale for $12 ($7 for students). After Oct. 3, the cost will be $15 ($10 for students).
