Media Advisory: WVU FallFest media restrictions announced

The following photography and video restrictions will be observed in conjunction with West Virginia Universitys FallFest concert Monday, Aug. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in thegreenbetween the Life Sciences and Business and Economics buildings. These rules are being enforced at the request of the bands.


  • No video can be shot of the stage (and performers on the stage) by any media or University outlet, at any time.
  • Video of patrons and members of the audience is okay once the gates open, but not with performances in the background.
  • No floodlights are permitted.


  • Still photography is allowed from all general audience areas.
  • No still photography side shots of stage or performances (from Woodburn, other areas) is permitted.
  • No still photography of stage or performances from restricted access areas (behind crowd control barriers, on emergency exit stairs or from University buildings) is permitted.

(NOTE: Press credentials will be distributed at a media check-in table at the overlook between Chitwood and Woodburn halls. Limited parking is available with WVU media permits in the Area 23 lot, upper level, off Prospect Street behind Stewart Hall.)
