Outstanding string musicians from high schools in West Virginia and surrounding states are taking part in West VirginiaUniversitys annual High School Honor Orchestra Jan. 24-25.

The students will present a concert in the Eiesland Hall auditorium at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25. Directed by WVU Symphony Orchestra conductor Lawrence Christianson, the concert is free and open to the public. During two days at WVU , they attend rehearsals and clinics with WVU string faculty members, perform with the WVU Symphony Orchestra wind section players and attend concerts.
