Participants are needed to serve as”mock victims”with a variety of injuries for an upcoming full scale exercise to test and help prepare hospital and emergency medical providers in Morgantown and Monongalia County in the event of a disaster.

The exercise is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 15, from approximately 5-9 p.m. with an information and training session to begin at 2 p.m. at the PreteBuilding on University Ave. Those interested in participating (must be 18 or older) should provide name, phone number and email address to Dave Custer, exercise coordinator, by Monday, Nov. 11.

Participants should bring identification to the exercise when registering. Food, beverages and bathroom facilities will be provided.

The exercise is part of a Department of Defense/Office of Domestic Preparedness Homeland Security grant awarded to the WVU Virtual Medical Campus to test the emergency medical response system.
