Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Lambda Omicron Chapter, will ring the bell of the Armored Cruiser USS West Virginia at noon Friday, Oct. 25, to honor the passing of Joseph Vaughn Suppa.


Suppa, 20, a WVU freshman general studies major from Charleston, died at his Kingwood Street residence Oct. 18.


Any individual(s) who would like to speak at the memorial service should contact Alpha Phi Omega (293-3017) or Memorial Bell Ringing Coordinator Anita Windon at 282-0543. West Virginia University has officially recognized the fraternity’s Student Memorial Bell Service Tradition. The bell, commissioned in 1905, will be rung in salute. All members of the University community are welcome to attend.
