The West Virginia University Symphony Orchestra Concert, originally scheduled for Oct. 20, has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in Eiesland Hall Auditorium.
The concert was rescheduled due to the temporary closure of the WVUCreativeArtsCenter.
According to conductor Lawrence Christianson, the program will feature Dmitri Kabalevskys”Colas Breugnon Overture”from his opera”Colas Breugnon, The Master of Clamecy;”“Adagio for Strings”by Samuel Barber;”A Lincoln Portrait”by Aaron Copland, conducted by R.J. Nestor; and”Symphony No. 4”by Peter Tschaikowsky.
