The Alumni Association of the West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences will host its annual College Awareness Day Saturday, Nov. 9, in Morgantown.

The event is designed to provide information about programs of study and meet the students and faculty of the Davis College for all West Virginia youth in grades 8 through 12. Students will have the opportunity to interact with faculty, students and alumni for an in-depth look at what the Davis College has to offer.

The day begins with an informational program at 9:30 a.m. followed by tours of the Davis Colleges laboratories, classrooms, greenhouse, nursery school and other facilities. Refreshments will be served. Students and adults can also attend the WVU -Boston College football game that afternoon by purchasing a ticket at a discount price.

“This is open to any interested student, 4-H member, parent, teacher or alumnus who is interested in learning more about WVU s oldest college,”said Barbara Pavel-Alvarez, a Davis College graduate and the events organizer.
