To better facilitate questions and requests from students and parents about residence hall assignments, check-in times, meal plans, computer connections, the Jump Start Academy and other housing issues, West Virginia University officials have set up two”housing hotlines.”

Those numbers are 304-293-4372, ext.15750 and 304-293-4491 .

“We are anxiously awaiting studentsarrival on campus and know that theyalong with parentsmay have more questions than we can answer in mailings and e-mails or on websites,”said Amir Mohammadi, associate vice president for Student Affairs.”We are hopeful these help lines will come in handy.”

Mohammadi said if the lines are tied up and one gets a recording, the caller is asked to leave their name, number and a brief message and the call will be returned within one business day.

WVU is expecting another record year in University housing, Mohammadi noted, and the Housing staff has worked diligently this summer to make on-campus and extended housing accommodations for all admitted freshmen, transfer students and some upperclassmen, who also want to live in University housing.
