The WVU Juggling Club will toss up more than just colorful props this summer. The club will host the 3rd Annual West Virginia Juggling Festival June 14-16 at the WVU Student Recreation Center. The event coincides with World Juggling Day.

The festival begins at 5 p.m. Friday, June 14, with an open juggling session and continues until 9 p.m. with workshops and games for both non-jugglers and advanced jugglers.

A free public show will be held Saturday, June 15, at 7 p.m. in Eiesland Hall featuring local jugglers, the WVU Juggling Club and several visiting performers. The show will be hosted by illusionist Josh Knotts, a Wierton native studying visual and performing arts at WVU .

The festival is open to the public; a one-time $4 guest fee will be charged for individuals interested in attending the festival. The fee will allow access to all juggling areas as well as unlimited use of all other facility features for the entire festival.

The new WVU Student Recreation Center, which opened in the summer of 2001, features multiple gymnasiums and courts, an elevated track, weight and fitness equipment, two pools and an indoor climbing wall.
