Over 6,000 students from area elementary schools, Head Start programs and child care centers will get a closer look at a working farm during Kiddie Days, April 23-26, at the West Virginia University Animal Sciences Farm in Morgantown.

Hosted by WVU s Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences, the annual event gives children in the region an up close and personal look at the Stewartstown Road farm. Davis College faculty, staff and students lead the tours which begin each day at 9 a.m. The last tour of the day starts at 2:30 p.m.

Reservations are not necessary for smaller groups, but larger parties should contact Gretchen Riggs with Davis Colleges Division of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at 304-293-2231, ext. 4420.
