Anyone interested in promoting tourism in West Virginia is invited to attend the”Sustaining Wild and Wonderful: Best Practices in Tourism”conference April 29-30 at the Days Inn Conference Center in Flatwoods, W.Va. The conference is co-sponsored by West Virginia Universitys program in recreation, parks and tourism resources in the Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences.
The two-day conference will educate attendees on topics such as ecological practices and environment management systems for hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts; sustainable tourism certification programs; marketing development; the business of ecotourism and other related issues.
The $50 two-day or $30 one-day pre-registration fee is due by April 15.
