The North Central Chapter of the West Virginia Entrepreneurs Forum will learn what it takes to build a winning business team when it meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the National Research Center for Coal and Energy on West Virginia Universitys Evansdale Campus.

Attorney Priscilla S. Johnson will provide insight into financial strategies to attract and retain the key talent for a business. Johnson is a partner in the Pittsburgh office of Thorp Reed&Armstrong and is co-leader of the firms Emerging Business and Technology Practice Group.

Her practice focuses on business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and securities matters. She has also worked extensively with start-up companies in matters such as structuring and organization, venture capital financing and corporate governance. She is a graduate of WVU and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Marina Solomon, an executive recruiter from the Pittsburgh offices of Basilone-Oliver Executive Search, will provide strategies and issues that should be addressed to successfully recruit and retain key staff members.

The North Central Chapter WVEF meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are free and open to the public.
