With the end of the fall semester right around the corner, many West Virginia University seniors have already started planning for Dec. 7 convocation and beyond.

As part of the Senior Year Experience, December graduates will once again have the convenience of a”One-Stop Shop”on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Mountainlair Commons. The shop provides a central location where students can order caps and gowns, class rings and yearbooks; get tips on resume writing and job-hunting; and receive other information important to graduation.

WVU Career Services will provide job-hunting assistance and resume writing, and students can sign on with the Alumni Association and the Athletic Department to stay connected to WVU and the Mountaineers after graduation. WVU departments such as Financial Aid, Admissions and Records, University Health Service and Student Accounts will also be on hand.

This event is one more way that WVU is recognizing the achievements of seniors and providing them with the support to make a successful transition from academics to career, said Mary Collins of Student Affairs.
