The climbing wall and walking/jogging track at West Virginia Universitys Student Recreation Center will close Monday morning (Oct. 15) so workers can replace 10 sprinkler heads in the ceiling.

The rest of the facility will be open for use, said Dave Taylor, the centers director.

Employees from Sverdrup/CRSS, the St. Louis-based contractor for the project, will have to construct scaffolding near the wall and track to do the job, Taylor said. The work is expected to take three days.

Students, faculty and staff can call 293-PLAY to find out when the wall and track have reopened.
