Three speakers will discuss different aspects of marketing critical to start-ups when the North Central Chapter of the West Virginia Entrepreneurs Forum meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the National Research Center for Coal and Energy on West Virginia Universitys Evansdale Campus.
Bill Thomasmeyer, president of Silicon Triangle Associates with past experience as a CEO of several high-tech companies, will give an overview of the critical marketing elements of a successful business strategy. Carolyn Curry, the executive officer for WVU Communications, will address relationship marketing, branding and key metrics to apply in evaluating marketing investments. Dale Martin, director of advertising and business development for Mylan Pharmaceutical, will provide a case study analysis of effective strategies for commodity sales and distribution.

The North Central Chapter WVEF meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are free and open to the public. Monthly programs include networking with a variety of business professionals, including venture capitalists, private investors, industry experts, business service providers, inventors and other successful entrepreneurs.
