Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Lambda Omicron Chapter, will ring the Armored Cruiser U.S.S. West Virginia bell, Friday, Oct. 12, at noon to honor the passing of West Virginia University student Denise Russell.

WVU has officially recognized Alpha Phi Omega’s Student Memorial Bell Service Tradition.

The bell, commissioned in 1905, will be rung 21 times in salute. All members of the University community are welcome to attend.
