Lithuanian music, Brazilian dancing and an international fashion show are just a sample of the entertainment planned for WVU s 14th annual International Festival on Monday, Sept. 17.

The festival starts at noon in the Mountainlair Ballrooms and continues through 8 p.m.

Sponsored by the Office of International Students and Scholars and the International Student Organization, the event will include more than 30 displays representing over 20 countries. An adjacent stage area will feature live entertainment from noon-4 p.m. and a fashion show from 6:30-8 p.m. International take-out food will be sold from 4-6:30 p.m.

The International Festival is free and open to all WVU faculty, staff and students and members of the Morgantown community.

According to international student program advisor Karen Bird, the University has about 1,200 international students enrolled and over 200 international scholars on campus representing over 100 countries.
