Terry Ondreyka, associate vice president for finance at WVU , will be leaving Aug. 1 to become vice president of finance at Youngstown (Ohio) State University.

“This was a hard decision for my wife, Paula, and me to make,”said Ondreyka, who has been at WVU since 1993.”We have become attached to Morgantown and WVU and have two sons who graduated from the University.

“However, this was a professional opportunity I felt I couldnt pass up,”he added.”I grew up in the Akron, Ohio, area, so it is also an opportunity to be closer to home.”

Ondreyka has been involved in higher education for 30 years. Before coming to WVU , he worked at the University of Michigan, University of Denver and University of Houston.
