The West Virginia University Alumni Association will honor graduates of the Class of 1951 during Emeritus Club weekend April 27-28. The annual event recognizes all graduates of the University of 50 or more years. The Club has over 1,000 members, and plans on inducting its largest class ever this month.


Fridays events include an evening reception and formal induction ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Milan Puskar Center.


On Saturday, there will be a 8:30 a.m. breakfast at Erickson Alumni Center, followed by a campus tour. A barbecue luncheon at 12:30 p.m. at Erickson will round out the activities.


Current officers are Mary Templeton of Morgantown, president, Class of 1947; and John D. Lough of Bridgeport, vice president; Class of 1949.
