The co-founder of a Pittsburgh venture capital company will discuss raising capital when the West Virginia Entrepreneurs Forum meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at the National Research Center for Coal and Energy on West Virginia University’s Evansdale campus.


Bill Hulley, a co-founder and former general partner of Adams Capital Management, will go over the”dos”and”don’ts”of raising capital in todays volatile investment environment.


Adams Capital Management is a $720 million venture capital company that focuses on information and medical technologies and telecommunications.


This meeting is being sponsored by the Emerging Business&Technology Practice Group of Thorp Reed&Armstrong, a law firm with offices in Wheeling and Pittsburgh.


The WVEF is a newly formed non-profit organization consisting of individuals from the business and technical community interested in promoting the formation and growth of innovative, technology-oriented companies.


WVEF meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are free and open to the public.
