The West Virginia University Honors Program is sponsoring a talk by two 19-year-old students from the former Yugoslavia.

Maja Bulatovic is from Montenegro and Jara Pintar from Croatia. They will discuss conditions in their war-torn nation Wednesday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. in 233 Brooks Hall.  The event is open to the public.

The students are enrolled at Armmand Hammer United World College of the American West in New Mexico and are here during the school’s spring break. They will speak on the changes in their countries from their own experiences and perspectives, including the atrocities of the civil war and the wide range of psychological and social difficulties of their generation.

A discussion and refreshments will follow.
