The Greek Week Fashion Show is a new event this year, said Josh Justice, Greek Programming Committee co-chair, and will feature members of WVU Greek organizations and a D.J. from WVU s student radio station, U-92.

Greek Week events are designed to celebrate sorority and fraternity life and support philanthropic organizations. Justice reported that WVU s Greek organizations have already volunteered more than 1,828 community service hours this semester. Projects ranged from picking up litter on McLane Avenue and making cards for hospitalized children to volunteering time at The Shack, the Morgantown Retirement Home and Hospice Care Corporation. To date, 10 of WVU s Greek organizations have had 100 percent of their members participating in community service.

This years Greek Week contributions will benefit local chapters of the United Way and the American Cancer Society.
