West Virginia University’s India Association will continue collecting money this week to aid relief efforts in the western Indian state of Gujarat, which was struck Friday, Jan. 26, with a magnitude 7.9 earthquake.


Donations will be accepted today and tomorrow, Feb. 5-6, at a booth across from the Health Sciences Center Bookstore from 1-5 p.m. For the remainder of the week, Feb. 7-9, a booth will be set up in the Mountainlair between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.


Checks can be made payable to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. The India Association will send all money collected to the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., this weekend.
