    The Institute for Math Learning will address declining math skills among the nations public school students and college undergraduates. The institute will focus on enhancing student performance in mathematics by studying learning styles and developing appropriate curriculum options and innovative teaching techniques. The provosts office has committed $600,000 to planning and equipping the center and employing highly qualified faculty to teach and conduct research in mathematics education.
