A statewide conference on teacher education and technology will be held at West Virginia University Dec. 1-2.
Sponsored by the College of Human Resources and Education, the seventh annual conference titled”Technology, Teacher Education and Tomorrow”will bring educators together from across the state for hands-on technology training and a discussion of best teaching practices.
On Friday, local public school teachers and university-level speakers will present”Best Practices and Programs”from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Assembly Rooms A&B of the National Research Center for Coal and Energy on WVUs Evansdale Campus.
Skill-building classes will be the focus of Saturdays program in Allen Halls fourth floor computer room. Participants will learn specific computer applications such as web page development and WebQuest.
The conference is open to the public. The registration fee will be reduced for students.
