The West Virginia University Alumni Association will host two events for alumni and friends prior to the 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, WVU -Pitt game at Three Rivers Stadium.

Both events will be held at Station Square beginning at 11 a.m. and ending around 2 p.m. Transportation to the stadium will be available on the Gateway Clipper afterwards for a cost of $5 per person.

Alumni and friends will be gathering at Chaunceys for one event. No RSVP is required, and admission is free with an optional buffet being provided for $9.95.

A pre-game luncheon will also be held simultaneously at the Sheraton Station Square. Cost for the reception is $15 per person; a cash bar will be available. A phone reservation is required for this event by calling 304-293-4731 by Nov. 22.

The Nov. 24 WVU -Pitt match-up will mark the final college game ever played there, and Head Coach Don Nehlens final regular season game as the Mountaineer head coach. Nehlen announced his retirement Nov. 4 effective at the end of the season. The stadium will be torn down soon to make way for a new facility.
