Following on the heels of the June 28 higher education governing boards and state college and university advisory board appointments made by Gov. Cecil H. Underwood, West Virginia University leaders have announced institutional Boards of Advisors for the regional campuses.

The appointments are for one year until the WVU Board of Advisors becomes the WVU Board of Governors in July 2001. At that time, the regional campus institutional boards will be appointed by the WVU Board of Governors.
